The first couldn't make the F4 last year, and do you think the second can, this year? There were many factors of course in former's failure, but with such a weak frontcourt as Fener's, I don't think any team can go far.

I'm a big fan of Mirsad, he is a special player, but at this age and after injury he's a 10-min guy. Savas is a big disappointment, I seriously think Fener should send him away. Peker has passed his best days as well, another 10-min guy. Gist and Vidmar are question marks, but still they look like the best of the bunch. Fener fans who dream F4 with this squad need to wake up.

I think they will acquire a quality big man, though.
The match between pao&Barça was the pre-final. The 2 best teams in EL. We had the bad luck of see them in quarter instead of f4

    enough according to me ...

    especially , I trust emir preldzic , bojan bogdanovic , vidmar .

Funny enough. If Gist is going to be your main PF then every good team will take that as FBU's weakness. Really, he isn't top level player...you need someone like Lorbek or similar player (like Jankūnas, etc.) but you won't find players like that this summer....maybe Veličkovič would be good enough.

Sorry but not enough. In spite of everything, I believe that we'll bring a quality big man.

there is question that how turkcan will return from injury ? it can be create some weakness in pf rotation. gist has got size disadvantage in some match-ups

i think mirsad is still one of the best pf of the europe,i cant believe spajha put him on bench, same situation about emir preldzic,he absoutly should take bigger role in the team
i think fenerbahce squad far enough for f4 but im in doubt about spajha is

You touch upon a good point. I believe that too he isn't a fair average player, at least he was 2nd rebound leader after Mirsad in last year's Euroleague.

Fenerbahce adding another PG within few days and also considering Dogus Balbay's situation. Frontcourt rotation is not great, i agree, but 'weak' is not the right word to describe the strength of it.

Btw, both Mirsad and Gasper are doing well during their recovery period. They are expected to be fully fit until the beginning of the season.

Definitely not weak, whoever thinks so it's wrong and maybe needs to check last year's statistics.

    Fenerbahçe supporters seem to be disappointed about the next year's squad. Let's see;

    Ukic
    Jerrels
    Ömer
    Kinsey
    Tomas
    Emir
    Bojan
    Gist
    Mirsad
    Vidmar
    Kaya
    Oğuz

If we consider whole team we can just have doubt about Bojan Bogdanovic's defense. Rest of the team has good defensive skills. In addition we have PF's with good shooting skills, C's with efficient in defense and offense and SG-SF rotation is awsome.

If Spahija could achieve to construct a defensive team and if we could avoid unlucky situations that we faced with last year, I believe this team will surprise not only fans but also whole Europe.

It's not about names. How many stars were in Siena? Fener could be a really good team with this current squad, but I really think the front court is fragile and thin (=weak). But there's plenty time and I'm sure Fener will add another big. They have to.

    1. Vasquez/Lorbek/N'Dong/Morris
    2. Mirsad/Vidmar/Savas/Peker/Gist

This is a fine comparison but how about this one:

    1. Rakovic/Stonerook/Lavrinovic/Ress/Akindele
    2. Mirsad/Vidmar/Savas/Peker/Gist

    First one was F4 qualifier.

Yes, but first ones are clearly better in both cases.

Curtis is now official so that leaves 3 questions:

1-) who is going to be our Turkish PG?
2-) what is the situation of Kinsey?
3-) are we going to sign a player for frontcourt?

As Aydın Örs specified we won't transfer any Turkish player for now.

    Turkcan-Gist-Savas-Vidmar-Peker
(there is also Berkay Candan, one of the biggest prospects of TBL)

I really don't think the front court is fragile and thin.
