    Wow, it’s surprising that 3 of us have been to such an unlikely place.

    @ rchos7. Yeah, I have been to Kourouta beach too. Endless beaches, nice people, nice environment... There used to be a bar by the beach called “Ble” ... is it still there?

    yes and this summer was the hot spot of kourouta beach!every day i was there from 3 till 8 in the afternoon drinking frappe playing tavli and diloti and swimming a little!
    at 8 back to amaliada in order to eat and make a bath and at night back to kourouta for alcohol and a little dance!

    Nothing in particular. It's just that whenever I think of my trip to Lithuania, it brings a smile to my face...

    OK, in reality when I was writting my list of countries I included Uzupio Respublika and I put a smilie next to it (for obvious reasons). However, when I eventually decided not to include U.R. in my list, I forgot to erase the smilie, which "stuck" with Trakai...

    One place I would like to visit is more of the western lands of Russia. Someday if possible I'd like to take that train from Moscow all the way to the other end of Russia. Anyone ever do this? Tell us your journey if you dont mind. I'm kind ofa ctually interested in Siberia just to see the difference in the towns/villages/cities in this area

    I wouldn't try that unless you can speak some Russian or have somebody who does with you.Very few people here know English
