Default OK - I Have a HUGE Complaint About Papaloukas Now

During the British broadcast on FIBA Europe of the game between Greece and Slovenia.........

the American announcer said, and I quote,

    something to the effect like,

"I was talking to some of the Greek coaches, and from what I understand, at first they decided not to invite Papaloukas to the training because they did not think he would play. Then when they had all those injuries, Zouros called him and asked him if he would play for the team.

And Papaloukas replied to him back on the phone, "what, NOW you want me on the team?" And then he hung up on him."

And he said it as the coaches told him Papaloukas said it just like that. Like, "What? NOW you want me on the team?" And then just hung up on the phone.

And keep in mind that this is his the former coach of Papaloukas in Olympiacos. Papaloukas knows him even. And remember how in the Greek media that Papaloukas said what a great coach Zouros was and how he might like to play for him and he was a good coach and everything?

And by the tone they were using when the issue of Diamantidis came up, they made it sound like the coaches were also really pissed off. Something to the effect of they did not even want to talk about him when the announcers asked why he would not consider playing.

Seriously, this really pisses me off. This shows how these guys are acting in the Greek press and pretending one thing, and then how they are really acting in private.

It also shows that Mavrokefalidis is someone that the federation is trying to single out and make an example of. They are clearly worried about the actions and behavior of Diamantidis, Papaloukas, Mavrokefalidis, but they are choosing to make an example out of Mavrokefalidis and are protecting Papaloukas and Diamantidis.

Papaloukas and Diamantidis apparently think they can act this way and it will never get out in the Greek press.

Well, all I can say is, I am really pissed off that Papaloukas acted that way as the coaches said. What the hell? I am sorry, but this needs to be put out in the Greek press and he needs to be called to explain this. I just cannot believe how these guys like Papaloukas and Diamantidis turned out to be.

Galis and Giannakis would never have acted like this.

How cares anymore. Their time is over and time to move forward.

I think you'll find that Galis was one of the largest premadonas ever...the man walked off when Politis benched him towards the end his career and never returned!

Actually, Politis thought '87 was all his accomplishment and had a bigger ego...

Yeah, become he supposedly heard the US commentators say something about Papaloukas. Ofcourse, even if you try to find a recording of this, you'll never hear then say it.

And ofcourse, this has nothing to do with Diamantidis but he is mentioned too.

    One track mind...
