One-player team Macedonia probably will be stopped finally. Makalebski could be easily stopped by Russian team defense. Of course if they play seriously, not like France did. But there is no reason to do that I suppose. Serbia is a good pick for Russia NT.

Some days ago I thought that russians would want to lose this game to get us in the quarters. But really it could be true?
Now, I dont think so.. Maybe we are not that too bad for them, but they really want Spain in the semis?
I believe Serbia and France/Greece is much better way to the final (and olympics) than Lithuania And after very likely Spain..So, they must win today.

Macedonia should rest Boo and Antic imo, i can't see big difference in quarters against Serbia or Lithuania. Ofcourse David Bladd doesn't want lose this game remember last year against Greece who afraid of Spain France lost to NZ and Greece get Spain Blatt used main players last year, he doesn't like these things russia will play serious and will win easily.

However Macedonia lose against Serbia and agianst Lithuania, but Lithuania at home is better than Serbia.

If tonight lose Macedonia play 14 sept, if win play 15 sept. I think Macedonia tonight wont to win. For sure.

I dont think they feel we are good pick for them as long as i follow basketball (arroudn 17 years) they NEVER beated us in knockout stage and trust me we played against them many times including one World championship final

I dont think right now for Lithuania there is big diference play with russia or macedonia.On paper russia looks stronger no doubt,but to play with russia in kaunas in most important game of the championship it would be like old good days Zalgiris-cska (soviet union national team).I just cant see that blatt or russia players really wants to play us in 1/4.
Ofcourse play with 1/4 with serbia not candy either ;d this is why i think that both lower seeded lithuania and serbia gonna upset both top 2 of group F,doesnt matter what russia and macedonia do today.But ofcourse its only an opinion,nothing personal.
The best chance from group F teams to reach semifinal in my eyes has Greece vs France.Still france is favourite to win,but there gonna be very low scoring game,first team which scores 60 gonna win ;d

It wouldnt be suprise to see all 4 semifinalists from group E.

I read Macedonia will play without their starting centar. He broke his hand in the game against Slovenia.

I think this will be a game were both teams don't try too hard to win. Russia coming on top at the end.
