    Exclamation 2011-12 Baltic Basketball League

So do Rūdupis or Nevėžis have a realistic chance of challenging for first place in the Baltic Basketball League this coming season?

For first place you mean in regular season? Yes, Rūdupis can. Nevėžis (or should I say "Triobet"?) can't, I would guess. They have not bad team but they still need to sign some players...right now I see them in play-offs of LKL but still not as good as Rūdupis and as I think, Šiauliai. Also Neptūnas has good roster (especially after their latest signing...), Kaunas can show good results (team full of the best Žalgiris' youngsters), Pieno Žvaigždės have high aims and not bad roster as for now. All these teams can play well in BBL.

    Exclamation

    BBL Cup

    Semifinal I

    University of Tartu 108 - Kalev/Cramo 106

    Semifinal II

    VEF Riga 80 Rūdupis 75

    Bronze Medal Game

    Rūdupis 85 Kalev/Cramo 70

    Gold Medal Game

VEF Riga 95 University of Tartu 69

It looks to me as if Rūdupis led by veteran Dainius Šalenga was the second best team in the tournament.

That tournament was long time ago.

Yeah, Rūdupis looked way better than Estonian teams.

I didn't like that Šalenga and Kadžiulis have absolute freedom offensively.

Once again (3rd time in a row) Žalgiris took the trophy
