Let's open the discussion over the new coming Pro A season.
Will Nancy be the first back to back champion since the 1 game final has happened?
Will ASVEL come up to the expectations?
It's a bird? It's a plane? No, it's Rudy!
Boris Diaw confirmed he will play in Bordeaux, his own club, during the lock-out. It could be a nice boost for the development of basketball of the main city of the South West, a region known for its basketball culture although Bordeaux never had a good team.
He will play for the minimum Pro B salary, and the club is looking for sponsors in order to pay the insurance.
Tony Parker has announced he might play for ASVEL, and pay the insurance himslef.
Johan Petro has been announced as a probable investor in the HTV club.
Nicolas Batum has been rumored to be willing to invest in a club in Caen.
Batum will play in Nancy during the lock-out, with the objective to help them figure in the EL Top 16.
Overall it will be interesting to see the impact of these players, not only on the court but also off the court, in the medias.

HTV has released 3 players, Zianveni(heading to Strasbourg), Tony Dobbins and the second US.
Their payroll has been decreased to 600.000€, due to financial regulations of the league, following their debt issues.
It should allow the club to remain in good financial condition.
But maybe not in Pro A next year.
Else, Nancy has become the new winner of the Champions match, at home against Chalon/Saone. Batum was huge, as well as Akin.

yes, it's him. He wasn't free for long though. According the JSF Nanterre website, they have already signed him.
Zianveni joined Strasbourg as a medical sub for the injured De Jong.
Dunno Dobbins whereabouts. He has probably some leads as well.

Tony Parker announced to RMC he signed for ASVEL yesterday, for the min. salary(like Diaw did).
He is already on the first page of sports daily paper L'Equipe, and generic daily Le Parisien. It's a huge spot turned towards the French championship.

So it seems Parker paid his own insurance by himself, 250000$ for 3 months.
His sponsor revenues will increase after EuroBasket from 3M€ to 4M€, yet, he had very huge offers, especially from China, the rumor says.
I don't always agree about what he says on basketball, but he is really gaining a lot of respect with his involvement in NT and in french Pro Basketball.
