An interesting review of 2012 Class players who should mostly fill the voids in their teams as college freshmen.

    http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls...mpact-freshmen

Imo USC-committed Jordan Adams should also be added, considering the respectable number of xellent Trojans guards that will end their college career by 2012 (J. Gemelos, B. Gilbreath, A. Corral).

20 HS seniors, headed by 2011 USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year Breanna Stewart, have been named to the 2012 WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) High School All-America game, to be played on March 31.

    http://www.wbca.org/blog/index.cfm/2...chool-Seniors/

8 of the selected players (Jordan Adams, Bashaara Graves, Malina Howard, Alexis Jones, Jewell Loyd, Breanna Stewart, Imani Stafford and Morgan Tuck) were gold medalists with USA Basketball junior teams in 2010-11 and a ninth player, Moriah Jefferson, was a finalist for the 2011 U19 team.

The All-Americans list includes a Canadian player as well, Nirra Fields (Mater Dei), who also has got plenty of international experience in junior competitions.

Super honored Breanna Stewart is keeping her fame.
In the state championship last weekend she first had a monster performance (42 pts + 23 reb) helping her team Cicero-North Syracuse to beat Ossining in the semifinals and then scored a triple double to win the final over Penfield (13 x points, rebs, blocks).

Busy recrutiment days for North Carolina.
Three top 2013 players, Diamond DeShields, Stephanie Mavunga and Jessica Washigton all committed together the same day, adding to another verbal pledge by Allisha Gray. And the 2013 recruiting rally by UNC could even continue with #1 Mercedes Russell...
    http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls...ommit-together

These are the last 2013 commitments, additional to other verbals from the same class (among them twin sisters Bria and Briana Day) and should join 2012 prospects forward Xylina McDaniel and sharpshooting Antoinette Bannister.

2013 recruiting: two U17 World champions, Rebecca Greenwell and Oderah Chidom verbally committed to Duke, joining already committed Kianna Holland, another elite player and invitee at the U17 USA Basketball trials.
    Story here.

With this move Duke closes the gap with North Carolina 2013 wonder recruiting campaign.

In the meantime UConn recruited Ossining's guard Saniya Chong (33.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 5.0 steals and 1.4 blocks last season).
