I said coach why we practice so much. He said God will bless us after all this hard work. How can I argue with that !

French NT is currently in Czech Republic to play three exhibition games with host team, and won the first one 80-62.
France roster of 15 is still not definitive and the final 12-member team will be selected after two further exhib games to be played with Lithuania on June 18 & 19 in France.

Another convincing win of France over Czech Republic 66-43, in preparation of the World's championship, where both teams will meet in the opening day.

Lyles is already in the Canadian junior team finalists roster of 17 preparing for the U18 Fiba Americas tournament (16-20 June). He and young superstar Andre Wiggins were the best scorers of their respective teams recently scrimmaging during the try-outs.
    http://forums.interbasket.net/showth...675#post705675 #11 and 18.

Of course both Lyles and Wiggins are age-eligible to participate to the U17 World's, but afaik no team was announced yet.

In the meantime, Lyles has disappeared from the U17 US developmental roster list...he officially withdrew.

Canada basketball has invited 18 players to the training camp to be held June 13-18.
Players basically come from the 2011 U16 team (plus 7-2 Thanveer Bhullar), interesting to see if big calibers Wiggins and Lyles will later be added.

From USA Basketball it's confirmed that Aaron Gordon is unable to participate to the trials because of an injury (broken toe) that has sidelined him since more than one month.
    http://www.usabasketball.com/mens/u1...mp_begins.html

All other members of the 2011 U16 team are back, but Gordon's absence is a big blow for the squad as he top performed for last year's team.

Huge loss for our team- he was extremely impressive last year, just manhandling guys down low.

USA Basketball named 14 finalists, following several try-outs sessions.
Eight players are back from the fine 2011 U16 team (Gordon has been unable to attend this year) and six are new. Quite surprisingly, Theo Pinson and Justin Jackson (both highly ranked in the 2014 class) didn't make the cut.
The final team should be announced around June 20, at the end of next days practice.
