from what I heard there are some schools who are asking Coach Frankie Lim to be banned for life however most likely he'll be banned for a year. The rest of the coaching staff are said to have the same sanction as their head coach. There are some ManComm members who are for the one year ban of the whole San Beda Basketball Team but my source said most likely to happen is that more than half of the Red Lion line-up next season faces suspensions ranging from 1 game to 5 games. On how to penalize Dave Marcelo who already graduated is also being discussed being a major participant in the altercation with Coach Roger Gorayeb and the San Sebastian Mens and Womens Teams.
The ban and suspensions would surely affect San Beda's capability to defend its championship but this is a lesson that there must be no such violence in sports no matter the reason.

Based on this video, I don't think so. Okay, so he can jump out of the roof but, c'mon, so what?
I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade but the best way we can gauge this kid's skills would be to see him in a real game and not in a scrimmage. Secondly, I don't find him that quick and explosive. If you're going to compare anyone with Kiefer and Bobby Ray, surely you'd expect much from that person. Right now, I just don't see the special "it" in him, especially in this video. This is unlike when you watch mixtapes of Kiefer, Paul Lee, or Abueva where you'd find yourself exclaiming "Holy shit, did you see that???"
Hopefully, I'm proven wrong when the NCAA starts. He is still young with a lot of basketball ahead of him.
Season ban pushed for Lim, Gorayeb

The NCAA management committee has recommended a season-long ban on San Beda basketball coach Frankie Lim and San Sebastian volleyball coach Roger Gorayeb for their respectives roles in a melee at the San Beda campus last year.
A member of the committee told InterAKTV that the recommendation has been passed to other members of the NCAA board and is up for review by chairman Ramon Cercado of Perpetual Help.
The committee member said that there were suggestions Lim and Gorayeb be given lifetime suspensions.
“We don’t have that kind of sanction in our rules and regulations,” said the member. “Recommendations have been made for a season-long ban on them, but certain issues were raised for further review.”
The same committee member said that the decision by the board is “expected to be reached after Valentines Day.”
Lim and Gorayeb engaged in a heated verbal exchange that led to a fracas during an NCAA volleyball game at the San Beda gym.
Gorayeb and a female San Sebastian volleyball player, Mae Crisostomo, were hurt during the incident.
The veteran volleyball coach was in the middle of the melee, while Crisostomo was hurt after trying to pacify male San Beda basketball players.
The incident started after San Beda’s Nigerian center Ole Adeogun heard chants by male San Sebastian volleyball players that he perceived as a racial slur. But the spikers denied the charge, saying they were misheard and that they were only shouting a standard volleyball warm-up chant that was not directed at Adeogun.
LABAN KUNG LABAN! KAYA NATIN PILIPINAS!

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
THE DREAM LIVES ON !!!!
The Mancom came into the Policy Board meeting with the proposed sanction/penalty for Coach Frankie, Asst. Coaches and a 5 game suspension for Ola, 4 game suspension for Juice and two games a piece for every Red Lion.
Notwithstanding the gravity of said sanctions/penalties the same Mancom, appeared before Policy Board today without the necessary signatures of the very people who seemingly are spearheading the move to have the team penalized.
