Last night, Gonzaga freshman guard Kevin Pangos of Newmarket, Ontario scored 33 points in just his second college game. He connected on 9 of 13 three-pointers, tying a school record set by Dan Dickau.

Happy to see Pangos is playing well. Next generation of Canadian basketball with him, Myck Kabongo (who almost had a triple-double last night), Cory Joseph, Tristan Thompson, Kris Joseph, Robert Sacre and others will be very, very good. Be really looking forward to seeing Pangos in college.

Pangos's jumper looked deadly, and if Elias Harris bounces back (14-11 against WSU), Gonzaga could be a top 10-15 team this year.
