Default Euroleague/Club Competition Signings & Rumours (vol. II)

The previous thread already contained too many pages, so discussion may continue here.

Guidelines to follow (props to JPF):

    1. keep it clean and polite
    2. try to stay away from one lined posts (and "source?", "link?", etc)
    3. use edit button, instead of posting 3 messages in 2 minutes
    4. read at least some posts before posting your news
    5. this thread isn't and never was for euroleague and UC rumours only, but try not to report every single transfer that happened - instead try to judge on which one could be interesting for others.
    6. Make use of links in an informative manner rather than posting just to advertise your website.

Spartak St.Petersburg rejects Maccabi's Halperin Approach
Spartak St.Petersburg rejected an official approach from European powerhouse Maccabi Tel-Aviv for Israeli guard - Yotam Halperin (196-G-84)
Halperin, who played for Maccabi Tel-Aviv Between 2001-2008, is having a very good season so far at Spartak avreging 15ppg,5.8apg in the VTB League,12.5ppg,4.5apg in the Eurocup and 13.6ppg,6.0apg in the Russian PBL.
According to the report,Maccabi had made two officials approachs to Spartak but they both have been rejected as they see Halperin as an Important player in the team.
Halpein, who has signed two years deal in Spartak in the summer (with no option to cut the deal for both sides),has already agreed terms in Maccabi in the summer, but the deal collapsed due to a tax problems.

Sašo Ožbolt said to Slovenian press that nobody in Zagreb got any salaries this season. The management is saying some part of salaries should come at the end of first part of Euroleague. source: http://www.dnevnik.si/sport/kosarka/1042495290

According to Serbian press Benetton is very interested in signing Hemofarm's MVP Boris Savović as a replacement for Brian Scalabrine.

mallet?it should be the first good new of the whole mta season

u are writing about something that i think is a big problem
ys,because i think is not a good rule having market always opened.
i thjnk is more correct there would be 2 market period: summer and the period between the end of reg season and the beginning of top16

    http://www.sportando.net/ita/europa/...ob_pullen.html

mta is almost taking a decisione between mullet and pullen

pullen is strong and young and mta could be add him for years, but actual dramatic situation maybe mullet it could be the best choise.
why not both with ohayon and farmar cutted?
