Very solid young center. Very good in rebounding and shooting from the distance. I wish he would play in my team, but it's not possible. I wonder why PAO left him, he could substitute Batist in the nearest future. Also he should cost quite a lot after a solid season in Euroleague.

dedicated to all mta fan who always crticize what i use to write about mta players
well if mta add players like james tal papa ohayon smith and company, i have to write just something bad.
shermadini is simply my first dream since two years. i think he is best el c. fantastic add, but actually is just a dream. i need his sign

as i often wrote: mta has a mediocre roster who was in f8 because of last failed shot by basile vs barca ,but mainly because mta played an "old style" and easy to read basketball, just not moving the ball , not working for his shooters, but simply passing ball in the paint or hoping in some individual idea. rarely i've seen a so bad mta team and basketball, since 80's. the fact we were eliminated for 1 point by f4 shouldnt change things and analysis

team with low budget like maccabi i guess could try get kus

personaly i didn't see any ex yugo aba league players who could help maccabi right away. simon maybe, but that's just maybe? rest potential maccabi level players are not on that level jet.

imo, american michael scott from radnicki impresed me. he could be "rich man" chris warren. personaly i think he could be somebody's steal next season.

I said coach why we practice so much. He said God will bless us after all this hard work. How can I argue with that !

i tought there were more interesting players(as usual) among ex yu player.
anyway u should consider that actual mta level player his having players like ohayon or james...hard to imagine nothing better than them in aba league.probably there are no star but something better..

kus..u know what? when he was younger, 4,5 ys ago, i loved him. i think he was a really good player. anyway, considering sharp played since last year, tal is still playing for us and papa was added this summer, i'll not be surprised if mta would be soon over kus!

nope. way to many players left our clubs in last few season. this was one of weakest seson of aba league. there are some semi intresting players, but they all need season or 2 in aba league

In my opinion Gio Shermadini fits well into Blatt's system. He will produce more than James for basically the same price. He is a good pick for 15 minutes per game from the bench in a team like Maccabi. Although I like James but he is more limited in offense than Shermadini in my opinion.

shermadini from the bench? shermadini or 15 minutes????i guess u didnt see him often. he is the best eu center. rebounders, fighter, even shooter, good ball passer.he is a star. u'll see

i know him very well since here in italy we can follow acb weekly. a very discontinuos player, often choosing forced option. not a good shooter, just an average penetrator. nothing more. he is the bad copy of pargo.very bad copy. no he is not the right pg for an ambitious team.

discontinuos player: More or less but he plays better vs good team than vs average/bad teams

Not a good shooter: True he isn't the best 3pt shooter

Average penetrator: False, could be top-3 in europe

Nothing more: False. The leader of biblao and the nightmare of Madriz

LOL, I guess one of the signs that summer is about to come is that "Euroleague/Club Competition Signings & Rumours" turns into "Maccabi Signings & Rumours"

IMO James stays, Maccabi has option to extend him for 400k ( it's pretty good price for C nowdays). In Bnei ha-Sharon James had a solid offense numbers ( usually mid-range, with occasional threes), he just wasn't used by Blatt this year.

I think Hendrix will leave for some ridiculous sum for CSKA/Real/Barca/Khimki/whatever ( Maccabi cannot compete financially with ridiculous sums), so if Shermandini will join, he's expected to replace Hendrix.

Don't know if Sofo stays. IMO Blu will stay, he's talking retirement just to avoid playing NT this summer .Also Macvan will be back next year.

Shermadini was a great prospect and should have become a great player by now..But the truth is that he is still a good player not a great one..
Nevertheless i wonder why Obradovic didn't invest on him and let him free..He sure has potential to become a great PF (not C).
Huge hands, great height, very good technique and great shooter. He should add some muscles and become more confident. But that should be a matter of time..
All in all if MTA add him they will be making a great choice.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

    Rumors mostly,

Maccabi wants Doron Perkins back, Perkins wants no less then 1M Euro per year. Negotiations stuck as for now.
There was attempt of Virtus Bologna to get Papaloukas , Maccabi refused.
