For the 5th year in a row, I am delighted to open this season's Official Andrew Bogut Thread!

The Aussie-Croatian Big Man has had a long rest during the lockout and is ready for some action in the post for his beloved BUCKS!

How will the big lad from Melbourne fare this season?

Will he make the All Star Team?

Will the Bucks return to the Playoffs?

Will he be selected on the All NBA Defensive Team?

Will the Big Man crack into the All NBA 2nd Team?

I am expecting a HUGE year from Bogut.

The lad is rested, he is hungry for success and is ready to prove all those doubters and haters that he was worthy of being selected as the 2005 NBA No.1 Draft Pick.

I think that Bogut will put up a modest 14ppg but dominate defensively grabbing 12rpg and leading the league in blocks per game at 3bpg.

He will finally be selected as an All Star, be chosen on the All NBA 2nd Team and the Bucks will finish 4th in the East behind Miami, Bulls and Boston.

Only issue that is worrying for Bogut is his health as that nasty injury was still affecting his performance last year so I hope he has been able to fully recover.

It's really unfortunate that the Big Fella is injured again. This will really test the Bucks front office as to what they will do with Bogut as his contract comes to a close. I wonder if the Big Fella can produce those consistent double double numbers once he comes back from this ankle injury or will he only produce the average play from last season. I would love to see Bogut stay with the Bucks however, the NBA is a business and the Bucks have been stagnant and not progressing. If the Bucks don't make this season's playoffs expect Coach Skiles to be shown the door and a couple of major trades to occur with the team's core group: Bogut, Jennings, Delfino and co. Prior to this season I thought that the Bucks could replicate what they did back in 2010 however, due to injury in inconsistent play they are looking more like the Bucks of 2011. Hopefully, Jennings and company and pick it up while the Big Fella is away and when Bogut gets back let's hope that the Bucks can make some REAL NOISE like what they did back in 2010. GO BUCKS GO!

Bogut has been a subject for trade rumors as of late and the nearing trade deadline is giving speculations even more.

Bogut is now a subject to trade rumors in the coming trade deadline. It is reported that the Milwaukee Bucks are to deal Bogut. Potential destination is the Houston Rockets, who seem to be interested.

It appears that Bogut is heading to the Golden State Warriors as a part of a multi-player deal.

This will be interesting for Bogut as wears a different uniform. I always thought that after the wonderful season of 2010 that him and Jennings would eventually evolve into a top dynamic duo but the injuries just kept on coming.

The Big Fella might be unable to attend the London Olympics and thus, causing a massive hole in the paint for the "Boomers". Most likely NBA player, Patty Mills and other European based lads such as Barcelona's Joe Ingles and Matty Nielsen will have to step up to the paint and to fill the void.

The Boomers were hoping to land a medal at this year's game after more than a decade since the Boomers had a real chance at a medal (2000 Sydney Olympic Games).

However, with a strong core of lads in top domestic leagues around Europe and NBA Assistant Coach of the San Antonio Spurs: Brett Brown directing these blokes, I'm confident that the Boomers can show the many ex-pats Aussies who are based in London that the Boomers can give the other basketball powers a run for their money.

Bogut to try his hand in sports management

It seems that Andrew Bogut will not suit up for the Golden State Warriors this season. But Bogut said in an interview with the Bay Observer that he hopes to play in the London Olympics for the Australian men's team.
