The Lebanese Basketball is Really in a very good Situation , I think our League is Very Strong the Best in Middle East ,and i think 2nd in Asia after China (CBA) even could be the same ,it s not easy for the 8th in our League Sagesse Team beating the 2nd of Iran Foolad Mahan ,that s was a big surprise really ,that can give us as a conclusion that our league is really strong ,not to mention how Riyadi Smashed the 2 Iranian teams in WABA and specially Zob Ahan by 40 !! that s huge ,also Anibal Zahle beating the Champion of Egypt ,i think our Basketball is in a very good Situation ,all our teams are good and i m sure Sagesse Back to the Right Track ,they will kill when they come back !! and hope we will see a Lebanese Final in Dubai ,Congrats Lebanon ,Sabah Khoury what a Huge Player !!

Wouldn't it be possible for any PBA team to join this tournament I know the playoffs are currently being played but any team that didn't make the final could still play if it's possible.

The best team for this tournament is the Shopinas clickers.

You can't expect any better from this team.
I don't think it's the coaches fault, simply this team doesn't have the potential to compete on high grounds.
With all due respect to the players but they're not top degree players. Reaching semi finals with this team is a great achievement.
This is why Anibal are doing better now because they've worked hard during the summer to gather a good level local players for the current season, and so far is very promising.

Al Ahly Team have very good foreigners(cheikh Samb ,Mason ,Leroy Hurd) !! but locals=0 ,as for Sagesse i don't know what happened yesterday ,but in my opinion they need a change ,they need to change Coach Vujanic ,i don t know how in QF they lead the game by 20 in the first 2 Q ,then the Iranian up by 3 in the 2nd half !!! how this could happen ,then we won after many T.O From the Iranian side ,but in Semi Final ,it was a disaster no deffence nothing ,No System ,even in the lebanese League Sagesse at the 8th Position !!!!!!! from 9 Teams !! that s very bad ,coach Toni Didn't proove anything ,i think they give him the chance after 2 big losses in Lebanon against Anibal and Mouttahed ,then he lost in Dubai !!
Good Luck Anibal Today ,Anibal are a huge team really ,they deserve it ,not to mention that they are at the 3rd Position in the Lebanese League ,Ghaleb Rida is doing good ,same for Rodrigue Akl and Charles and Roy Samaha ,4 NT Caliber !!

Congrats Lebanon ,Huge Game For Anibal And Great Tournament For Zahle Team Anibal Their First Cup this Year ,they played very good even with Bad Reffering against Them ,even with Ahly 3 Imports (To note that Anibal Are playing with the same Team as Lebanon) ,they lead The Game and won it ,these are the Lions Of Zahle ,in first 2 Quarters Anibal leads by 17 ,then in the 3-4 Q ,Ahly reduced the lead and even they lead with 6 against Anibal ,but Really Jay Yougblood was the Man in the last Minutes ,he got a very hard 3pt and got it ,a Steal and taking fouls from them ,Ghaleb as Usual a Huge Player with 30 PTS ,Congrats Lebanon ,Lebanese Teams are Always Leading Congrats Zahle !! the Lebanese Fans in Dubai were Great ,the Cup Returned To Lebanon ,Zahle Is Celebrating this Huge Win ,and tommorow they will have a Big Celebration with their Players even with the Cold Weather !!

ANIBAL BACK TO BEIRUT

Anibal Zahle team arrived this evening to Beirut with the Dubai International Basketball tournament trophy and was welcomed by a number of sports officials and fans. Anibal won its first major trophy in its recent history after beating Al Ahli of Dubai in a tough battle.
