Maccabi were choking hard today... Good for them that they met even bigger chokers. Thanks for the cash again Zalgiris

One of the most disappointed Zalgiris season of euroleague. Feels like luck was on another side in every game. On the other hand, Trifunovic didn't use the full team's potential, he is just mediocre coach. Damn, a lit a bit pity, we could really win much more games : /

Yep, that's zalgiris. Is there a team capable of losing games like that?..They are up by 18, but you can still feel, how is the game going to end. One way or another.

So much investment, expectations and PR - all for nothing. Once again, they keep losing every single game in top16. They should get rid of Popovic in the first place. He is the cancer of a team all season long. Crazy shots, lack of tempo control, no playmaking. And, of course, finding a decent coach and letting him work for once. However, no self-respecting coach would go there, that's why they are stuck with Trifunovic. I kinda wished them luck in EL (more or less), but when you manage to lose 3 games in top16, which you could have easily closed until the 4th quarter, that's it.

for a basket fan who came from mars, reading at mta-zalgiris score, let him simply think of a close match won by the home team.
unfortunatly this fan didnt see an historical match :THE WORSE BASKETBALL MATCH POSSIBLE (for euroleague level) BETWEEN TWO RIDICULOUS TEAMS.
mta is really really nothing. showed again that is a team with no pg. one doesnt know how to score (ohayon). one is an ex player everytime risking a to (papa). one is not a driver but a scorer who blatt dont allow to play in is position.
mta just search the paint. is an easy team to defend , easy to read . never search for permiter except for desperate soution, never give shooters chances as every euro team.
mta is full of mediocre players, badly trained this year by a coach in the middle of a big confution. not giving chance to play as pure scorer to scheyer and mallet having no offensive solution is another blatt's faulth.
i think mta is an average italian division league. nothing more. now we have to hope in barca , but watching cantu, they absolutely deserve to go to top 8. they are hard team in defens, playing a great basket under the basket with shermadini and a huge basketball from perimeter. a so modern team. it will be a big wound for euro basketball to see a so mediocre team as mta, in top 8.
p.s. i'm glad to see perkins in such a health. he is better ,much better than all mta pg

wow, Cantu are on a verge of beating mighty (or not) Barca...just proves how overrated this team is this season I guess. Good luck to italian team - they surely deserve to qualify from this group

If EA7 wins they dont have a chance for top 8 as they r behind of both Kazan and PAO on agg.

2nd thought.. it matters for PAO... if they win this game.. they just need to win vs Kazan. If they lose this game they need to win vs Kazan by 6+
No, it still doesn't. Both teams are at 3-2 now, the winner of the last game goes 4-2 and the loser 3-3.

On the game, PAO was comical today, we need to improve A LOT if we want to reach the F4. Even with a home advantage, I doubt that we can eliminate Maccabi this way.

    Go f••• yourself please..
Once again you are wrong, once again we make it to the next round, once again you can't say a good word about the team you're allegedly a fan of. I'm sorry but this top 16 have finally putten you in the same level as FIBA Europe basket, the legendary troll of this forum.
So you can keep the bullshit coming, I gave up. really.

could you stop crying finally ? Yes, Cantu is very sympathetic team, but that's all. It is not enough to be in top8, you must prove it by winning, not only play well. They had a chance, but didn't manage to use it. Euroleague is a cruel tournament

Why Navaro isn't getting a technical foul for his flops?
Today this flop ruined a great season for Cantu.
