A month long break is coming up. This is to accommodate the London Olympics on which several stars will be suiting up for the national team.

    Minnesota Lynx 79
    Washington Mystics 77

The Lynx let a 20 point lead evaporate as the Mystics mounted a strong surge. Lynx held on for the close victory to be undefeated with 5-0.

Another WNBA 2012 award, Nneka Ogwumike as expected named Rookie of the Year.
She's joined in the All Rookie Team by Glory Johnson, Tiffany Hayes, Riquna Williams and Samantha Prahalis.

I feel for the LA Sparks and Candace Parker-Williams. She worked so hard this season in hopes of re-establishing her career and make great her team again. But the Lynx triumphed and once again will be contending.

I was expecting the Lynx to sweep the Fever but the upset has changed the atmosphere of the finals completely. Fever players know that they can win this series. Let's see how the Lynx re-group with their championship pride.
