The Changwon LG Sakers will run and gun next season. Head coach Kim Jin said that they will be playing an exciting and uptempo offense. I'm excited by the prospect of Byun Hyun-Soo playing the part of scorer and playmaker.

With the retirement of Busan's Pyo Myung-Il, the illustrious draft class of 1998 are all retired.

Chris Alexander is back but I don't want that asshole in my team again. The Changwon LG Sakers should opt for a mobile four to play as center. Either ways, we'll be at the bottom of the standings.

Jeon Tae-Pong working hard with the Goyang Orions. He has erased the frustration of ending the season with Jeonju KCC Egis without even playing the final game.

This early, the Samsung Thunder are preparing for the season. They had a scrimmaged with Korea University with new recruits Lee Dong-Jun and Hwang Jin-Won playing. Kim Seung-Hyun looked really fit.

    After the Olympic Qualifying Tournament:

    Yang Dong-Geun (Ulsan Mobis Phoebus)
Will be resting up and hopes to recover from his right hand injury. Yang needs rest as a large part of Ulsan's success still hinges on his health and production. He is expected to mentor Kim Si-Rae, the 2012 first pick overall in the KBL draft.

    Kim Tae-Sol (Anyang KGC)
Kim will have to do more for this season if Anyang KGC hopes to repeat in their title defense. His teammate, Park Chan-Hee is off to the military. Kim is the best perimeter defender of the team.

    Park Chan-Hee (Anyang KGC)
Military service. I will personally miss him.

    Kim Sun-Hyung (Seoul SK Knights)
After a great rookie debut, Kim's focus is avoiding the sophomore slump. He will team up with another rookie: Cho Bok-Young, to carry the team. Alexander Johnson is expected to return.

    Yoon Ho-Young (Wonju Dongbu Promy)
Military service. Wonju will miss his firepower.

    Choi Jin-Soo (Goyang Orions)
Another sophomore looking to improve better. Choi is expected to play PF or SF as his teammate Kim Dong-Uk can rotate evenly as well. It will be interesting in how he will blend with rookie center Kim Seung-Won.

    Lee Seung-Jun (Wonju Dongbu Promy)
Lee Seung-Jun wants a championship and he is not getting any younger. He will team-up with KBL legend, Kim Joo-Sung to add to Wonju's formidable front-court. Lee's fitness and overall excellence will be appreciated.

    Kim Dong-Uk (Goyang Orions)
Should stay fit and healthy this summer. He and new teammate Jeon Tae-Pong are expected to mesh well with Choi Jin-Soo and rookie center Kim Seung-Won.

    Yang Hee-Jong (Anyang KGC)
He does what he does best. Provide perimeter offense. A huge contributor to Anyang KGC's title defense.

    Oh Sek-Eun (Anyang KGC)
Already the franchise player of Anyang, Oh needs to be healthy for another grueling season. He had a superb rookie debut, and is looking hungry for another KBL title. Will seek ankle treatment prior to the season.

I love this picture. Especially the shirtless Byun Hyun-Soo. Sakers have started offseason training last week. Our guys are getting fit and working out.

The veteran Kim Yong-Hwan is keeping up well with the Sakers youth.

Scrimmages are set in the afternoon and then a cool down workout to call it a day.

Shin Je-Rok who played in Japan last season, has a provisional contract for training.

Choi Jin-Soo and Kim Dong-Uk have rejoined the Goyang Orions in practice. Both were members of the national team that played in the Olympic Qualifiers.

Jumpball Magazine has Jang Jae-Suk as the cover.

Jae-Suk alongside Kim Min-Uk are known as the twin towers.

It seems that Park Rae-Hyun will represent the Changwon LG Sakers in the upcoming import draft.

    Injury Updates

Goyangs Orions: Jeon Tae-Pong assured fans via the message boards of the Orions that he will be healthy for the start of the season.

Anyang KGC: Oh Se-Keun is also rehabbing his plantar and Anyang's site reported that the swelling is gone.

Has the 2012-13 KBL schedule been released yet? If so, where can I find it? If not, does anyone know when it will be released? Thanks!

    Default 2012 KBL Import Draft

    Courtesy of http://www.mykbo.net/kbl

I am fairly satisfied with the Changwon LG Sakers selection. Rod Benson brings toughness and rebounding into our speedy group. While Ira Clark will allow us to play the run and gun style. Benson also brings in a tough mentality to win as he saw two consecutive KBL finals trips with Wonju Dongbu Promy. While Clark is a KBL veteran who played for Samsung last season.
