I still don't have the roster for the US Team but one player confirmed is Jermaine Barnes, one of the most decorated player in the Universal Basketball Association (UBA) and star of the GIE Morrow Disciples.

Im writing this post as the general reply for those who have written me.

Around this time every year when the Williams Jones Cup is being held, I would receive numerous emails from players parents, friends and fans asking where they could find a link to the online stream of the games.

Honestly, I have no idea, despite I know there would be some links created by the always passionate Filipino fans when the mens competition is on -- if the Philippines NT is in the tourney.

But I do know that if you install this software PPS.tv, which is very popular in Taiwan and China, you could watch the game live on Taiwans sports channel Videoland ().

However, there is a precondition that you must understand Chinese to install the software. Maybe you can try.

On the other hand, I have been spending less time in recent years to write on this blog as you can see. At present I cover mostly politics. Which is why I have not been able to update game information regularly in a timely fashion. Ill update information which I think is important when I have time.

Pilipinas NT team sponsored by Smart PLDT with Gilas as its monicker will participate in the Jones Cup.

1998 was the last time the Filipinos won the gold in this tournament. Basically, it was 14 years ago.


The hunger factor combined with the will to topple and bring down Iran being winners of 3 consecutive times in this said tournament is a big motivation for the Filipinos.
