The important thing regarding the Lebanese NT is what will happen now after Sarkis' resignation?
What decisions will the federation take with less 5 days before the start of the tournament?

There's no time for them to naturalize anyone now... The Olympic pre-qualification is in less than 1 month. I think the team will stay as it is for now.

Maybe the big men to be naturalized will be for future tournaments like in next years' Asian Championship

It's not really surprising that Jordan would loose to Syria considering how depleted the Jordan NT is right now. It only goes to show that without Rasheem Wright, Zaid Abbas, Zaid Al-Khas, & Enver Sobzookov, Jordan is a much weaker team
