Chinese CBA 2012-13 season

I'm rooting for the underdogs in the 2013 CBA Finals, which is Shandong. Guangdong are heavy favorites.

Guangdong has some formidable players like:
Yi Jianlian, Ike Diogu, Donald Sloan, Wang Shipeng and Zhu Fangyu

Shandong on the other hand has:
Zaid Abbas, Jackson Vroman, Pooh Jeter and the young talented Ran Sui and Ding Yanyuhang

I wouldn't be surprised if the series goes to 5 games but I think the experience of the Chinese NT players on Guangdong will be a major advantage for them in these finals.

I am interested to see on how Shandong and its players will respond to game 2. Game 1 saw the likes of Ding Yanyuhang, Sui Ran and Wu Ke struggle as opposed to Guangdong's seasoned players like Zhu Fangyu and Wang Shipeng who contributed when Yi Jianlian was being hounded by Abbas and Vroman. Experience trumped inexperience in game 1. For the second game, Shandong is in a disadvantage as games 2 and 3 are in Guangdong.

Guangdong takes a 2-0 lead over Shandong as Yi Jianlian and Ike Diogu went on a rampant scoring in the paint. Both finished with double doubles.
