Dominican Republic has terrible defense. I don't think they can win a knock out game against a quality European team, unless they really improve their defensive effort. Because so far it's almost zero. They would actually have a decent chance to qualify, if they just gave even a little bit of effort on defense.

I did watch both maches against Korea and Russia. I agree with everything you told. They will have an nightmare with Makaleb unless they really improve their defence. They play a game that suits Makaleb very well.

I have no favorites here. I've mentioned before that the Dominican Republic will be the greatest threat for the FYR of Macedonia. It's clear that the Dominican rep. is not a world class team, but I think that they are slightly better than New Zealand and Angola. It will depend on how the players of both teams will react to presure.

Samardziski will be the key in this game for our team if we convert the rebounds into points they are done but if not we will have huge problems our defence has to stop Horford from passing and getting easy points.
This game for me is unpredictable I hope we play with Kiril Nikolovski his size will help us in the rebounds. Vojdan Stojanovski should start to make 3pointers like always and for god sake Vlado Ilievski should not shot more if he is missing all the time.

We will work hard in defence the whole 40 min for the first time in this torney.

Even without playing good defence DR has real chances to win this one. Up tempo game and extended guard rotation will be some key points.
FYROM has 2 key guard players (MacCalebb and Ilievski) who are playing more than 35 minutes per game. Foul troubles for one of them or tiredness would be a big problem for Lazovski.

I am not sure that Antic will guard Horford. He is a good defender but his coach must keep him away from foul troubles very early in the game.
MacCalebb's guarding also is an issue for the Dominicans.

2.bold: Tiredness? thats a word Vlado Ilievski dont know he played the most minutes in EB 2011 from all players in the tournament. Bo Mccaleb will not have foul troubles other players have that job.

The problem for DR is that we can make 3pointers from almost every position with almost every player and i feel that today this will happen we had two bad games in terms of 3p. but today this is going to change.
