    Default Quarterfinals: Russia vs. Angola

Will the Angolans manage to be the surprise of the tournament?

Will the Angolans manage to be the surprise of the tournament? Nah, the Russians are quick, smart and good three-point shooters. Angola has good three-point shooters, but aren't smart nor particularly quick. So I'll go with Russia here.

Angola had an unbelievable 3point series against us but totally sucked against NZ. If they can repeat that angola could make it close otherwise i see a +20 for Russia who is in every way superior.

Also, there is a huge size difference between these two teams...
Russians are really giants comparing with the Angola's players. If Angola's shooting is as good as it was against FYROM then Angola will not lose by more than 10-15 points.

I don't even give them a chance to win...

Russia's biggest problem is not Angola but the fact that Mozgov is out of the tournament because of injury.

Russia will win by 15-20 points, but it will be interesting to see how they will fill the hole left by Mozgov. Against a short team like Angola, can they play Monya, Kirilenko or Khryapa at C? Is this a viable strategy in the later stages of the tournament?

would love an upset but Russia will likely dominate.
The Rules learned in the Prediction game.
    1: Brazil is always disappointing
2: Never dismiss Argentina solely because of age.
3: Never bet against Spain in a knockout game, unless it is against the US.

Woo futsal is finally over and I can finally watch the game and it's 25-21 Russia in the second o.O

edit: Of course right after I type that Angola only scores 5 more points ouch. 43-26 Russia, nothing to see here.
