Or he might have assistants or people working with him who read the forums. Well at least I can guarantee you it won't be a Lebanese person cuz we hate Hagop and have been screwed over by him many times before

You might want to add Global Port players there too. Remember there's a falling out between Romero and MVP.

What I know is that the Head of Communications of FIBA-Asia, Maggy Mageshwaran does lurk in a number of Basketball Forums including this one, at times he does gather his materials for his articles from the net. Then of course if there's a matter of concern, he does report the matter to his superiors including Hagop. I have personally worked with him during the time we hosted the FIBA-Asia Champions Cup, he does know a number of different languages including basic Pilipino, he is a workaholic and a very wide reader.

should have also included Air21 which like Barako is a Bert Lina team.

But whatever conspiracy theory about this SMC thing would be seen right after the on-going trade negotiations does push thru and what happens if players currently in the GILAS 2.0 pool goes to teams in the SMC Groups and their allies. And of course vice-versa assuming players that were selected by Chot and has not submitted their letter of commitment but find their way to the MVP Group and PBA teams that are willing to lend their players to the National Team.

On Global, let's see if Mikee will pull-out El Granada and Casio from Gilas.

This would really test if SMC has some plans of their own.

i wonder how many mistakes eala is allowed to commit before being struck out of smc.

lackluster showing of petron last season and smb losing in the abl finals got to mean negative pogi points for eala, right?

But still he had the hand in stiopping Tnt's grandslam build.. second Bmeg being the comm cup champs and lastly eliminating tnt in governors cup at the same time jobbing to Ros in the PBA finals..

lost in finals = means relief for SMC in paying Championship bonuses to the players afterall the rival is long gone

Correct. But a 3 year window would be a good conservative estimate (last year being Year 1).

    “He is not ready yet”
    on August 19th, 2012
    By Niki Bakouli/ bakouli@eurohoops.net

According to “Prasini” newspaper (owned by Panathinaikos’ owner), Guo Ailun is about to become the first Chinese player who will play in Euroleague. The Greens’ negotiations with the 18-year old shooting guard (last season he played for Liaoning Dinosaurs at CBA and in 30 games he had 8.6 points, 2 rebounds and 3.2 assists, in 21 minutes per game), seems to be at their final stage and they were first reported by encestando.es.

Now let’s see what his father had to say about this transfer. He talked to sports.sohu.com, about his son’s possible move to Panathinaikos and he said: “Europe might be more suitable to my son’s abilities, since he can play defense and he know how to run in offense, but his team at the CBA needs him, right now. Maybe after 2-3 years, if the opportunity arises, he will go to Europe, to learn more about his game and to prove who he is. But next season he will play for Liaoning Dinosaurs, cause he is not ready yet for Europe”.

Guo Ailun is the nephew of Liaoning ex-head coach, Guo Shiqiang, who played point guard for the Chinese National Team from 1999 to 2005.

that's money out of SMC .... returns must happen in due time.

Even if he does have RSA's ears, he does have enemies and detractors within the group. But I feel, on how Toroman performs will make or break him with regards to his future within the org. There are lots of talk even if Ols was appointed, he could be a head coach on paper only. Remember the time Jong Uichico's first time as San Miguel Head Coach when Ron Jacobs would have a "runner" giving instructions to Jong while he sat on the stands.

I was about to post this, but I don't know where. He was the main rival of Kiefer, and a EUROLeague team is after him. Hope Kiefer can still go toe to toe with this guy in the future.

and on top of that... keifer seems to have this superstar attitude... coach norman is also utilizing him as a shooting guard at 5'11? i thought we are preparing our young guys to international events? look at ray parks he plays at 1-2-3 position in NU which is good for him in the future... i am really disappointed with the performance of ravena this year... he was better last year...
