Can Brazil redeem themselves, or will Russia make a statement. I'm leaning toward the latter.
The Rules learned in the Prediction game.
    1: Brazil is always disappointing
2: Never dismiss Argentina solely because of age.
3: Never bet against Spain in a knockout game, unless it is against the US.

Russia will probably win this. Brazil hasn't been doing too well lately. Maybe they're saving energy for the next round ?

    Huertas averages 9 assists.

In my point of view, this game won't change our luck. Finishing 2nd or 3rd in the group is the same thing. We should care about China.

But... If we beat Russia, I think that we can beat Spain too.

Finally a nice first quarter for Brazil. And a couple of three pointers as well. Looking good so far.

Brazil finally looking like the Brazil we expected, perhaps they were overlooking the Brits and Aussies, or maybe they were wake up calls.

BBC commentators must work on the pronunciation of Brazilian players names.
Brazil looks good. Playing great defense, like in the game against GB.

Sometimes I can't believe how Magnano can make this guys play defense like this. The guy sure has a gift in this department.

It was too good to be true. Bad second quarter. Brazil 8 x 16 Russia so far, with 4 minutes remaning.

Edit: Anyway, this looks like a game that will remain close until the very end.

Huertas thinks he's Tony Parker and keeps missing these weird floaters.

Well... He still has better field goal % in most FIBA competitions than Parker, not to mention asists avarage...

Brazil has some decend NBA players, but their players are still worse than russians, at least in my eyes... So Russia will probably win this game quite easily.

edit: Russia started playing really stupid, Brazil is back in the game...

Shved hurt Russia with his decision making in the last couple of minutes. Very good game so far. Tied with 3:40 to go.

Brazil started playing much better when Splitter, Huertas, Nene and Varejao were not in the game, Taylor surprised me. That is going to be a big upset if Brazil wins.

Great plays by Shved and Huertas!

Shved made up for his mistakes. Big three to tie the game. Previously he made a mid-range jumper and had a great assist, also.

Ouch. Bad subbing late in the game: Huertas comes back in and immediately commits a turnover, then Barbosa comes out and Shved knocks down an instant three.
