What's the most likely scenario in the semis? Will the Brazil game dictate the semis outcome already? Can someone share the USA bracket?
Winner of Spain Brazil gets Argentina, then USA
Loser of Spain Brazil gets France, then Russia

That's why we are discussing the possibility of tankfest in the Spain Brazil game. No one wants to end up in the USA bracket.

Congratulations to Russia for the big win, they were able to come back twice in the game, first after the first 2-20 and later with the 60-69. Spain was quite inconsistent in the end and weren't so dangerous in the 3p like they were other days. It's too early to speculate about a possible intentional defeat by Spain or Brazil, because the first ones are even able to play to win and lose in the end. You never know what can happen in the knockout stage, Argentina seems more dangerous to Spain than France but in a querterfinals all can happen.

If Spain has to play against USA in semifinals, they should deal with it......if they get there.

If that's true, Spain NT should be disqualified like chinese badminton players who intentionaly gave up and got kicked out of olympics for that.

It's Jorge, not Jose. He's not in the team but i doubt he would be so stupid to tell a journalist that Spain is going to lose the game intentionally. I don't believe so.

Love the Russian team. They are so much different with Kirilenko playing for them so confident and fun to watch. Hopefully they will go deep all the way to the medal rounds. Too bad they dont have replacment for Mozgov. One more servicable center and I could see them in the finals right now . Kaun is just terrible.
