    Default Quarterfinals: France vs. Spain

Spain not playing that well in the group stages but they had two easy wins over France last year. Will someone throw the game so they don't face the US in the semifinals?

As much as I would love France to pull the upset, Spain pretty much owns this rivalry. Will be interesting to see if Spain shifts into knockout round mode, and continue their habit of weak pool play followed by dominance.

I think Spain will win but also think tony Parker is the best player on the court.

It would be a small uspet if France wins this. They rarely win against Spain. Spain has better players and they, even though not in good shape, still have a better team chemistry than French. This is going to be the most interesting quarter final game to watch, two teams that for me belong to top5 in this tournament (with USA, Arg and Russia).

France has a chance, but they have to get Parker some help he is good but can only do so much on his own. They have to find a way to keep the Sapinords off the glass

Spain are clearly favorites, they have a huge advantage inside.
I'm also pretty sure that they will step up their game.

I expect to see a good version of Spain, despite the level they have shown during the group phase. I wouldn't say that Spain is clear favorite but only favorite. This seems to be the best oportunity for our neighbours to end their curse against Spain if our team doesn't improve.

Not even 8mn into the game, we already have 2 fouls for Turiaf and Seraphin and 1 foul for Traore and Diaw.

Batum will play center in the last quarter at this rate.

If France can avoid fouling out this might be a game.

The passing of France is very impressive. If they can continue the passing they will hard to beat.

The referees are against Spain thus far, maybe it has something to do with tanking thelast game. Anyway it is a nice to see them not having the referee help. France percentage for 3 will drop and Spain still has lots of potential, that is why I still think that Spain will win this in the end.

Watching the Spain bench is hilarious. Some players looking as if they're having heart attacks. Close game at the end of the 3rd. I still see Spain taking this one.

Spain has had some terrible fourth quarters this tournament, if this trend continues they're done.

Spain not the least impressive in this game... If they manage to win this game I wouldn't bet on them against Russia...
Anyways we still have 1 quarter left so let's see what happens

Spain is going to be fighting for a bronze (if they win here) if they continue to play like this.

Turei's effort downlow against Spain's big has been impressive, not everything gone his way but he is still fighting hard. With effort like that France might pull this off
