Spain, France, Russia should be among the favorite teams, but it's always difficult to assess how strong the competitors are in this intermediate age. Queralt Casas' Spain lost for instance to Sweden in a prep game, but Spanish women still are among the favorite.
Italy is made around the 2010 U18 European champions, but with several casualties. Italian team beat Great Britain and Portugal in recent preparatory games.
