Like what has been thrown around, "Nobody can predict the future". If the Philippines can be the best in the world then why can't Australia beat Croatia and/or Italy.

I know that Du Feng is injured and having surgery. Gong Songlin and Wang Yong were cut from the team and Han Shuo and Yang Ming were demoted to Team B. Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian are absent for obvious reasons. But why are Huo Nan and Tang Zhengdong not on the team? Are they hurt or were they cut?

Wang Lei is listed as 205 cm. He is usually listed as 200 or 201. Did he grow in the past couple of years or is this a typo?

Obviously, you weren't around yet when the other Filipinos bragged that the Philippines can be the best in the world and flamed everybody who opposed the idea. That's why you don't recognize the statement "Nobody can predict the future".

Back to the thread topic. Any updates about Croatia? Has the roster been finalized yet? Thanks.

A skinny 6-9 small forward named Zhou Peng was the surprising top scorer in a Chinese loss to Australian "B" team, with 20 points. Zhou is listed as 18 years old, most people believe he's closer to 22, nevertheless he has not played in any senior international competition previously. Zhou is skilled offensively and agressive, and at that height, is a little hard to defend. If he puts on more muscle and horns his defensive skills he may be a force for China one day.
