What I really LOVE is the British expertise on basketball!!!

The article is about Šarūnas Jasikevičius, while the photo belongs to Vytenis Jasikevičius

Oh, those gentlemen from the isles of cricket!

In France, we had as well in the past the Beugnot brothers (Eric and Greg) during the 80s, and the Gadou brothers (Didier and Thierry, who both played in Pau-Orthez) during the 90s.

Yes they did. They shared team from 2001 to 2003.

By the way, I think Varejao has an older brother who played for Brazil, and I think they might have shared team a few years back, when Anderson started to play with the senior team.

It's a myth! In fact he was at basketball school from start till the end. Then he finished school he started working as construction worker, but his (and Stombergas') coach brought him to Neptunas

Now I don’t like to brag, but I’ve actually got the best case of brothers playing on their National Team: the Duarte Brothers from Peru. There were four of them: Enrique, Luis, Raul, and Ricardo. I’ve been in touch with Ricardo and his son Jose. There was another brother, Juan Carlos, but he did not play for the National Team at that time.

The brothers played extremely well, beating two-time World Champions Brazil, but failing to qualify for a metal.

I made an application to the Guinness Book of World Records to have the Duarte Brothers listed, but it was turned down. I think I’m going to start an internet campaign. Seriously. Maybe I’ll do it through IBN.

In Greece there was also a famous case. Fanis and Christos Christodoulou. I don't know if Christos ever played for the national team though. Fanis was a major talent.
