I think he could be dominant center in Europe. I mean he was pretty dominant figure playing international ball.

Another solid game for darko against the lakers but still euro stint is a must for him he will not flourish in a lottery bound team and he will only get frustrated but his value is rising again

I personally do not like Darko because of this:

I think he is a non educated delinquent who is still an immature kid and he will never be a good player unless he steps up and focuses on his game.

However... I think every player deserves a second chance, he is still quite young, and if he changes his personality I will support him and hope that he can be a player everyone else once thought he could be.

So what he was young he made mistake, he didn't kill anybody You think Danilovic was any better behavior wise when he was player. He was fighting all of the times.

15 points, 6 rebounds for Darko in his season finale. He finishes the season with Minnesota averaging 8.3 points, 5.5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game. He also shot an 49% for the season. Not bad.

The question in the off season will be whether he goes to Europe or takes the offer that Minnesota will give.

Might be, but I don't think so. I mean, he never had one solid and consistent season at NBA (or had he?). And all he showed in international BB it was 2006 WC where his team wasn't among the best and his performance was only solid, not dominant. More over, he was playing in NBA for several years and he wasn't consistent NT team player, so he would need to adopt to European playing game and I'm not sure he would find proper dialogue with every coach in Europe.
I think the myth that every NBA player would dominate in Europe has failed long time ago now and you can't even call Miličič a solid NBA player. I can't follow why Serbs are so optimistic about this player.

    The flick from the future...

Chris Webber and David Kahn talking about Darko Milicic:

I like the quote about Milicic being "manna from heaven."

He'll play again for the Timberwolves, as their starting center.

Default Darko Milicic expected to excel.

The list of players would get better as we move on and the first player who comes in the list is the famous 2003s overall second pick, Darko Milicic. The Minnesota team, with whom he has signed a long term deal and exclusion of Al-Jefferson in their squad after he has been traded, Darko Milicic is bound to take a leap in the NBA. This effectively means that Darko will excel as a Minnesota player with the added responsibility of being in the starting line up and also playing extended minutes.

Sounds optimistic but I believe in it.

Despite the Minnesota Timberwolves losing to the defending NBA Champions, the Los Angeles Lakers 112-95, Darko Miličić had his best game as a member of the Timberwolves, by scoring 23 points, hauling down 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 blocks and 2 steals.

    HOLY #$@%!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!

Good for Darko!! Gotta' love seeing production like that from a so-called "bust." That's really amazing!! The 6 blocks is the most impressive for me! So far, his 6 is the highest block total this season and he is tied for 1st with Josh Smith in total blocks. They both have 39.

    More on Darko's big night:
ESPN True Hoop Blog - November 19, 2010, ESPN

Despite losing to the Lakers, Darko Milicic had a career game: 23 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and six blocks. The points and blocks were career highs and the 16 boards equaled his career best. Milicic is the first player this season to have at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a game. Kevin Garnett is the only other player in franchise history to have a similar stat line, and Garnett did it 10 times with the Timberwolves.

...Milicic joins Elton Brand and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in NBA history who have ever had 20 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a game against the Lakers.
