You gotta provide a source for that dude. Unless these are your own ratings.
The Euroleague Organization and Mr Bertomeu are like the Bulgarian Government: corrupt, partially stupid, and a huge underestimator of people's intelligence.

According to your numbers Lithuania is better in defense than Greece. That's interesting

Indeed I laughed with Lithuania having a better defense than Greece who probaly has the best defense in Europe and only 5 for ballhandling when Greece possesses the best backline court in Europe.

    Spain, only 6 for speed?

By the way..what is the differance between "speed" and "quickness"? I thought the words were synonyms.

I liked looking at your ratings for the Asian teams, Joel. I bet you get a chance to see those teams compete a lot. Obviously, I've never seen the Thai NT, so it's neat to see what you think of them.

Greece a 5 for defense? They are the best defensive team in Europe. China a 5 for leaping ability? Team China has some amazing leapers.

    definitely some bias in this.

Interesting thread, some mistakes like Greece defence. I write 9 for greece defence and 9 to Lithuania shooting. Also Spain look too week.

If this thread is to truely eveluate the current NT rosters (we can only try, but will never succeed, in this by posting ratings imo), then I think you should have chosen different categories:

ability to make the opponent play at your pace
    point guard play
    maturity
    clutchness
    ingame coaching
    roster balance
    the little things
    rebounding
    defense
    inside scoring
    outside shooting

    Indeed you have a point.

The objects of comparision would be Diamantidis, Papaloukas, Spanuolis and Zisis vs. Jasikevicius, Macijauskas, Kaukenas and Siskauskas (yes, as he actually plays a lot of time as a guard in the NT due to the overloaded forward line and lack of pure guards able of controling the tempo. That's even despite his position in the starting line-up. Siskauskas is naturally a SG-SF).

So in this case, IMO there's no way at least that you can decide who is better.

Obviously the main point is Greece being very good in avoiding turnovers. However, it depends on the understanding of the criteria itself. If afterall ballhandling here does include dribbling skills too, then... well at least in dribbling, even Lithuania isn't any worse and is probably even better than the greeks, especially considering the mobility of big men.

Anyway this whole thing isn't worth much discussion, it's too inaccurate, giving too much space for interpretation.

What do you mean by "size"? Deepness of roster? or what?
I'll also repeat Evergreen's question: what is the difference between "speed" and "quickness"?

Papaloukas, Diamantidis, Spanoulis, Zisis < Jasikevicius, Macijauskas, Siskauskas, Kaukenas. It's clear for me and the confrontations (more or less of these guys) in 2004 and in 2007 saying that i'm right. Don't bother to remind me that Greece backline beat Macijauskas (without Saras, Siska) in 2006 after overtime or in last seconds. For me it's clear that Spain and Lithuania has strongest backline in Europe. By the way, look at Euroleague, no words needed in Greece and Lith backline stars comparison so far.

I stopped reading when I saw that Serbia is better on paper than Russia, Spain, Greece and Argentina.
