Congratulations, Filip!! What are you doing in London? Studying?

I'm sure it's a beautiful city. They've got an enormous international population, so you'll fit right in.
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

I will be in London the second week of February

Pound was about $1.45 (lowest in a long time) when I booked the trip in December, up to $1.52 now, what will it be in a month?

Just sightseeing...never been there and with a lot of vacation time built up and a good exchange rate I figured it was time to go.

London Capital host Guildford Heat on the 14th...apparently their homecourt is a high school in the suburbs. I think I'll skip that one.

Hope u have a great time there! But u do have to know that the weather there is really shitty (always raining and cloudy)
(I never knew why the English in general were quite cranky and drank so much until I went there to do my Masters. The weather does get to u eventually )

As for the pound rate man that is really great even if its $1.52. When i was there the rate was close to $2

Yeah a couple weeks of training should do u good. Have u watched the movie "Beerfest" by any chance? Its' a comedy that talks about a beer drinking competition.
Also practice on ur binge drinking techniques cuz many pubs close at 11 p.m (I don't know if they changed the law though cuz the pubs that stayed after 11 were required to have a special license).
So once ur hear the bell ring or the bar tender shouting "last call for drinks" u should be in high gear and in "the zone" to drink as much and as fast as possible

Well, please be sure to post some pictures. Even if you don't make it to a ball game, I'd love to see some snapshots of London from you.

25% chance I forget to bring the battery or memory card or battery charger, but I'll try to get some pics. Anything in particular you want?

Yeah, but if things keep moving in this direction I can just retire to the UK and be rich.
