China Defeats Croatia 76-66
Jianlian Yi (212-C/F-87) had 18 points and 13 rebounds in 29 minutes to lead China to a 76-66 victory over Croatia. Wang Shipeng scored 17 and Wang Zhizhi and Chen Jianghua each scored 12.
Yi hit 4 of 10 shots and 10 of 15 free throws. Wang Shipeng hit 6 of 9 shots, including 4 of 5 three-pointers. Wang Zhizhi hit 5 of 8 shots. Chen hit 2 of 5 shots and all 8 of his free throws.
Ding Jinhui scored only 1 point but grabbed 5 rebounds in 13 minutes.
China led 18-11 after one quarter, 38-26 at the half and 62-47 after three quarters.

China defeated Croatia today 65-60 as the team continues to prepare for the Olympics. Wang Zhizhi (214-C-79) and Yi Jianian made their first appearances for the team. Wang had 19 points and 6 rebounds in 17 minutes while Yi had 8 points and 7 rebounds in 15 minutes. Zhang Kai did not play today and Yao Ming is still recuperating from foot surgery. Wang was the only Chinese player to score in double figures as eleven players received playing time.

Liu Wei had the next longest appearance at 19 minutes, 47 seconds. However, on further inspection, the total minutes add up to about 160, not the 200 that are in a full 40-minute game. Sometimes, in Chinese box scores, the minutes are not fully up to date.
China trailed 17-15 after one quarter but led 29-26 at the half. The game was tied 46-46 after three quarters.

The coach of Croatia said it's the Croatia NT.
But I think the Croatia is the same team who was beaten by Iran NT a few day ago.
On the other hand the chian NT did not use the full strength.
China NT's coach was test the players on the bench and the new lineup.
Wang play 17 minutes and Yi 15 minutes.Thay did not play at the same time.

Wang can light up the score board. If he could only play some defense he could be a force to be reckoned with.

Wang and Yi were healing a few days ago,so thay just play 17 and 15 minutes to warm up.
