    Arguably among the best backcourts in the tournament but lack of big people as usual.
    Alberto Jodar is the best prospect of this team, he's suposed to be in the senior team in a couple pf years.
    Josep Franch already played with the 1st team of joventut some minutes in ACB league last season but the starting PGs might be the players of FC Barcelona.

    Base = PG
    Escolta = SG
    Alero = SF
    Ala-pivot = PF
    pivot = center

    I see Serbia winning it all, with Greece as a runner up.

    Spain (with an improved inside game since Mannheim), Turkey (nicely balanced squad) and Lithuania (inconsistent supertalent in Motiejunas, aggressive guards) can challenge for the medals.

    France is a huge question mark for me, as they looked like crap in Mannheim but surprised everyone in Douai (I didn't see them there). Italy is another big question mark, since they played Mannheim without Melli. Croatia is very talented but too soft and not very competitive. And Bulgaria should be rather intriguing following the leadership of Avramov and Zahariev.

    Anyway, if we take a look at the competition system and the groups, teams like Spain, Lithuania or Italy have very little chances to get a medal, because Serbia and Greece should secure the semifinal spots from the A/B groups.

    So I'm betting on Turkey for the bronze medal, with an excellent chance for teams such as France, Croatia or Bulgaria to make a run for the semifinals.

    Nikolic did the same thing 2 years ago at the u20 2006 in Turkey when he cut Teodosic and benched Labovic the whole game. For one I know he had problems with FMP organization and their boss I believe.

    Now he is cool with them. His preparations were in FMP training center. Also there are half of players from FMP(they got best players in this generation) but its outrage to not bring Djekic(only if he hurts) and also he could have brought Danilo Andjusic from Hemofarm .Because we need pure shooter and he is our best pure shooter.

    Nikolic has selected too much forwards (Subotic Petrovic Riznic Mitrovic are OK but Stamenkovic Grujo aren't better than Djekic) in this team, and only 2 playmakers.
    Do anyone know why Luka Basta (who will play for Partizan next year) is not in the preliminary squad ?

    Yes. Again not good to be on our squad. Subotic and Petrovic are much better than Bilic. Same with Bogdanovic. Vukasovic and other kid from Partizan are better than Bogdanovic. Too bad Andjusic is not invited. F....n Muta Nikolic.
