Topsy Turvy affair. China now back out to a commanding lead after the 3Q.

Jeesh, Yi Jianlian can look like such a waste of space sometimes.... I can't handle how he just stands around - no help defense, no hustle, nothing... but boy, does he like to hang on the rim when he dunks!

Also, a couple times, the Chinese guards jacked up threes in the face of defenders coming off a pick... these possessions could be better used.

Angola really has no set offense, their assist totals are the lowest in the tournament (15 total after two games) and are looking to solidify that lead with just 4 assists in the first three periods. It's a lot of holding the ball and dribbling. No movement whatsoever. Carlos Morais has been looking great for Angola though.

Yao is just a beast. Team China are really picking and choosing when to utilize him. They have no answer for him... Sun Yue has shown some great flashes of brillance.

First win eventually come, hope not the last.
Decisive game is the next one with Germany, and I think Greece is a little hard for team China to beat.

Excellent game by Yao Ming. China has a chance against Germany to qualify in 4th place from their group.
As for Angola, tough luck, they will probably end up playing with Iran for 11-12th place.

Yi is like a Chinese Stromile Swift. Man watching a bunch of small forwards trying to guard Yao is embarrassing. Even at like 60% conditioning he was toying with them out there.

And if they don't, I wouldn't bet for Greece in the last game.
