DALLAS - Arsalan Kazemi scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while freshman Ahmad Ibrahim added 14 points in his first career start as Rice evened its conference record with a 68-52 win at SMU.

Arsalan & Ahmad played together as starters in this one. Frankly it helped rice to snatch the victory. I hope the coach continue with this strategy.

Rice defeats Tulane on the road, 50-49

The great assist from Ahmad even tough his numbers were so bad at the end of the game but one single act during the dying moments dishing the winning assist for his teammate Frizzelle for the big shot.

Kazemi, Ibrahim receive recognition after 2-0 road swing

IRIVING - Rice University junior forward Arsalan Kazemi and freshman forward Ahmad Ibrahim swept this week's Conference USA Player and Freshman of the Week honors, respectively. Awards are chosen by a vote from a media panel representing the 12 member schools.

Ibrahim made his first career starts in road wins at SMU and Tulane. He averaged eight points, four rebounds and three assists in back-to-back victories.

Ibrahim scored 14 points and had a career-high four assists while playing a career-high 35 minutes in the Owls' road win at SMU. He also made the inbounds pass leading to the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer in the road win at Tulane.

This is Ibrahim's first C-USA Freshman of the Week honor.

it's true but early morning according to Rice Owls Official Website those were the stats and even the article was different.

Apparently it's not the same now lol and Ahmad didn't play as you said last night.

So eventually Ahmad signed with Riyadi and will start his professional career playing in Lebanon.
