Michael Palarca (South Dakota State) had 10 points in a loss against Oral Roberts earlier.
The box score for WKU-FAU is not available anywhere. It is Japeth's last home game for WKU and I hope he was able to get ample playing time. WKU won 87-63 or something like that.

It was a Seniors night for WKU's...
But the normal bench players saw more time than expected. Junior forward Jeremy Evans landed awkwardly and injured his right ankle with 6:49 left before halftime. He didn’t return.
In his place, Maresca had a career-night with ten rebounds, to go along with four points, while Aguilar put up eight points. Walker finished with two points.
that was the best game japeth ever played for the hilltoppers. obviously because he was given time to play, 10 minutes. normally, he only plays around 4-5 minutes. just imagine if he's given 10-15 minutes a game, how much he could give and help the team. i think japeth deserved to be given that playing minutes the least because he deserve more than that. 20 minutes would be fitting for this guy. if he was just given ample playing time, i think his stats would be very much better.

he scored 34 of his 37 points in the 2nd half and OT to lead the thundering herd to a thrilling 89-86 OT win over Tulane. this guy is really a terrific 3pt shooter. he's wearing jersey #14, listed at 6'3" and designated as a shooting guard. he used to play for purdue boilmakers during his 1st and 2nd year (2005-2007). transferred to marshall and redshirted for a year last 2007-2008. they could created a fearsome tandem with chriss ross at the PG and him at the SG. all pinoys so to speak if chris lutz is really part pinoy.

Transfers have big night at Madness
Issue date: 10/13/08 Section: Sports
Junior Chris Lutz shoots during the 3-point contest Saturday as junior Octavius Spann watches during Thundering Herd Madness at the Cam Henderson Center. Lutz teamed with senior Darryl Merthie to win the 3-point contest.
New faces dominated the proceedings in the annual slam-dunk and 3-point contests at Thundering Herd Madness on Saturday.
The 3-point contest had a twist to it this year. Instead of each player participating to see who could make the most out of 25 shots, players were paired with a teammate and the two scores were added together to determine a winner.
"We thought everybody was going to shoot one at a time," senior Darryl Merthie said. "When we got here coach (Donnie) Jones thought the upperclassmen should play against the freshmen."
Junior Chris Lutz teamed with Merthie to defeat a pair of freshmen, Damier Pitts and Dago Pena for this year's crown. The team format was different from what the players expected, but Lutz said it wasn't his first time competing in a 3-point contest with a teammate.
"I did it a few times at a Rutgers team camp one time," Lutz said.
Pitts outshot Merthie 16-12 when they went head to head, but Lutz stole the show when he made 18 of 25 shots from long range.
Lutz, a transfer from Purdue who sat out last season per NCAA transfer rules, set a Boilermaker school record for freshmen with 53 3-point field goals on his way to being named to the Big Ten's All-Freshmen First Team. Lutz also led the Big Ten in 3-point field goal percentage as a sophomore, going 58 of 123 from behind the arc for a 47.2 percent average.
The slam-dunk contest took time to get the crowd excited. In the first round, three of the five participants failed to successfully complete a dunk. That left junior Octavius Spann and sophomore Tirrell Baines to battle for a slam-dunk championship in the final round.
Spann started off the finals with an impressive windmill dunk off an alley-oop he threw to himself from the 3-point line. He also attempted to go between his legs on another dunk but wasn't able to flush the ball down the hole.
Baines was unsuccessful in his dunk attempts in the finals, although the degree of difficulty was high. Starting behind mid-court, Baines went full speed at the basket and took off from just inside the foul line but was not able to finish the dunk.
When Baines couldn't finish any of his dunk attempts in the finals, Spann emerged from the contest victorious.
"Tirrell has crazy leaping ability," Spann said. "If we had to do it all over again he would probably win."
Spann and Lutz now have bragging rights not only over their teammates, but also over their neighbors.
"My roommate is Chris Lutz, so it looks good for my apartment to win the 3-point and the dunk contest," Spann said.
