Raptors fire Sam Mitchell, Jay Triano interim coach

Bryan Colangelo today fired Sam Mitchell as head coach of the Raptors. Jay Triano is the interim head coach. Triano is the first Canadian born and trained coach in the NBA and was the long time coach of Canada's national team. I guess it's fitting having a Canadian coach for Canada's team. Now all we need is Steve Nash. Oh well, nice to dream isn't it?

I like to read about Raptors team, and believe me, fans are so excited, they are waiting for this months, even years.

Maybe Triano isn`t the one who they are looking for, but we have to wait and see ih he is temporary solution. I don`t believe, but on the other side I hope he is a long-term coach for (Raptors`) common good.

Many Raptors fans asked may times for this mainly because sometimes he has taken some decissions that for the public didnt have any sense, but lets admit that he's also guilty of helping to transform team's mentality into a winner's one.

I dont really know much about Triano, i just hope that his style of playing is offensive but with some brain in it, i mean, no some kind of crazy run-an-gun game, cause i dont think that that style could fit with many of his players.
