J.J. Eubenks once scored 101 points in a league game vs. Beitar ramat gan while playing for maccabi ramat gan. This was sometime in 1994 I think.

The Bosnian record (105 points) is a hoax. This guy simply created it and it worked for him so far,as no one complained about it.So cut that one off...

Khatib's 57 points is definitely true! (it was all over the sports news ) It still stands from 2003 and this shows what type of player he is in our league considering that he is Lebanese and that even though we had great foreigners playing here no one has been able to break his record yet

How about the Greek and Turkish records
In both countries the record is 153 points and if one player scores that many points I can't imagine what the final scores of those games were!

    Greece
    Aristedes Mumoglou - 153 points (1972)

    Turkey
    Erman Kunter - 153 points (1988)

Veljko, not Željko. He scored 101 points in 30 minutes. It was a Slovenian Cup game, second league team against third league team, or something like that.

    Yeah Veljko sorry about that.

So if its a Cup game do you think it should still count?

Same goes for Lithuania too. Gintaras Einikis made 30/34 2pt's against "NECA" Kaunas on 31 March 1995.

I can confirm the Turkish record.

It was a game between Fenerbahce and Hilalspor towards the end of season and it was certain Hilalspor had already been relegated. So they played with 16 year-old kids. The result was 175-99.

I found this info about the Greek record. It says Mumoglou produced 143 points with Iraklis against VAO in 1972.

The info about spanish league and spanish NT are both correct but if we talk only about the ACB, which started in 1983, the record owes to Epi with 54 points.
By the way the highest scoring average in a season was set in 1977/1978 by Essie Hollis with 39.18 ppg.

    Saporta Cup
    Georgi Mladenov - 54 points (1993)
Petrovic scored 62 in the final of 1989.

Do you mean he invented it and everyone believed him?

I put only the national league records.
Edit: I noticed that in the webpage it says "Slovenia Professional Basketball Single-Game High Scorers:
    B1 League
52 pts. Samo Udrih, Hopsi (W 123-77) Alpos Kemoplast, 11/18/2004 Cup Spar, Round 3" - was this in a Cup?

The webpage I took it from says 143 in a part and 153 in another, what should we believe? Any Greek fellow to clear this up?

I heard he (Drazen Petrovic) made 21 three-point field goals in a single game... is it true?

    That'd be Croatia.
The record for Serbia & Montenegro i guess it's 41 by Djordjevic in the final of 95.
I have no idea about the record of the unified Yugoslavia.
