    Default Artsiom Parakhouski of Belarus

Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Artsiom (Art) Parakhouski played two years at the College of Southern Idaho after he was discovered participating in the Junior European Championships in 2007 representing Belarus.

After two years at the junior college in Idaho, Parakhouski transferred to Radford where the 7-0 260lb center was named Big South player of the year and has led the small college in scoring, rebounding, to the Big South regular season title, the Big South championship, and now to the NCAA tournament.

    What, no replies at all?
Didn't watch him play but it looks to me this guy can be a Superstar in Europe, if he doesn't make it to the NBA for some odd reason.

I guess his name got a bit lost during the translation in the US.
Are you sure? No single entry with Google. In FIBA Europe's website it's also Artsiom Parakhouski.

Artiom Parakhovskiy-this pronunciation in Russian language, and it on Belarussian-Artsiom Parakhouski. It will be correct and and so, in Belarus two languages.

Parakhouski is currently fourth in college hoops in scoring this season, averaging 23.6 points per game through Radford’s first 18 games... Parakhouski is second in the nation in rebounding at 12.9 per game
